DECT is the standard used in most of the residential digital cordless telephones throughout the world. Frequency bands are allocated in different world regions and made exclusive use of the standard. The same technology is used both for residential and business applications but it can be used for a number of other applications that can take advantage of a clear cordless audio path combined with data exchange. |
